BOD Analyzer
Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) Analyzer
The BOD Analyzer is an advanced analytical instrument engineered for the precise determination of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) in aqueous samples. BOD, a fundamental parameter in assessing organic pollutant load and biodegradability, is critical for evaluating wastewater treatment efficacy, regulatory compliance, and environmental water quality.
This instrument employs an automated, respirometric (or manometric/electrochemical) methodology to significantly accelerate the BOD testing process. By continuously monitoring oxygen consumption by microorganisms during sample incubation, it generates accurate BOD results within 24–48 hours, eliminating the labor-intensive 5-day BOD₅ protocol while adhering rigorously to international standards including ISO 5815, EPA 405.1, and EN 1899-1/2.
